Product Description

Okuma is a manufacturer of precision engineering equipment and high-quality motion control products.

The BL-MC140E-30T is a reliable servo motor that is installed within the BLII-D servo amplifier produced by the company. The servo motor plays an instrumental role in enabling the servo amplifier for better speed, torque, and position control. The servo amplifier has been designed to give optimum performance in areas where the ambient temperatures are between 0 °C and 55 °C. The relative humidity allowed for operating this model is 75%. The device has a rugged outer enclosure and can sustain vibrations of up to 0.5 G. The servo amplifier’s required power is related to the rated power of the BL-MC140E-30T motor by a factor of 0.32. The system is operated on a three phase as well as single phase supply. The main circuit is provided with a 200 V three phase supply while the control circuit is provided with a 100 V single phase supply.

The BL-MC140E-30T is built into the servo motor system along with the BLII-D servo amplifier, the main board, and an SVP board. The BL motor is provided with an attached position encoder that is used to feed data to the SVP board. The position command information is initially processed by the main board before being passed in the SVP board. The SVP board is then able to provide accurate position, torque, and speed control, and output current command signals. The current command signals are amplified by the servo amplifier and then supplied to the BL motor as the power. The servo amplifier has an outer protection cover under which the IGBT, rectifying diode, and other equipment is installed.
