The BLIV-D100D servo drive offered by Okuma tends to cause property damage or personnel injury if it is used inappropriately. The product is designed to be mounted and installed inside a magnetic power control cabinet. This control cabinet must be waterproof and dust repellent so that there is no possibility of electric shock or the unit malfunctioning because of water or dust. The device belongs to the BL product group of servo drives. It has a unit capacity of 100A. The servo drive has a terminal block on either side. The unit comes with an XB-DBR jumper. This product has multiple LEDs to monitor the status of its operation.
The DC CHARGE LED of the drive is illuminated in orange to indicate the power supply to the main circuit. The product must be replaced if this LED does not switch OFF even after half an hour of the circuit protector getting turned OFF. The device is meant to be disconnected only after the associated motor and power wires are disconnected. The servomotor that is connected to the unit has chances of malfunctioning due to energization as a result of an incorrect setting. This servo drive comes with warranty backup support for one year.
The servo drive encompasses a jumper that is identified by the label XB-DBR and must always be connected. The jumper connector and the switches in the product have to be set correctly to prevent demagnetization of the motor that will cause it to malfunction. The device is compatible with the manufacturer’s QR, HT and SR series of servomotors. Its protective earth wires have to be connected to the control cabinet. The unit is meant to be equipped with overcurrent protective measures so that there is no burnout because of a short circuit. This servo drive can be delivered all over the world.
