Product Description
The Kollmorgen’s SR series are built with a tough structure and are specially designed for rugged, quality construction and very stable operation. The SR3624-1032-7-56BC-CU is one of the Kollmorgen’s SR series Permanent Magnet DC (PMDC) motors that offer high starting and acceleration torque with a wide range of speed solution. The device uses low voltage and available with all NEMA standards.
The SR3624-1032-7-56BC-CU PMDC motor is designed based on the use of permanent magnets in place of a wound field design thus enabling a more compact, lighter, and efficient motor with an exceptionally linear torque curve, and a wider speed range. The standard construction of this motor includes patented anti-cogging magnets for low-speed smooth operation, Class H armature insulation, rugged commutator design, TEFC & TENV configurations, and long-life constant force brush rings.
The SR3624-1032-7-56BC-CU PMDC motor is available with 180 V or 1/4 HP. It offers a pick current of 28 A with a continuous rate of 1.4 A. This motor consists of a 56C NEMA Frame and can generate 1750 RPM. The length of the motor is 9.12 inch and the weight is 18 lbs. Although the device has a comparatively high resistance and it is 9.6 Ω, it does not consume any power for excitation which ensures the maximum efficiency of the motor. The ability to produce high torque at low speed makes these motors as a suitable substitute for gear-motors in many applications. The SR3624-1032-7-56BC-CU Permanent Magnet DC motors are extensively used where smaller power ratings are required.
