Product Description

The SE2105 is a DC motor controller. It is designed and manufactured by Superior Electric. The SE2105 is rated for 230 Volts AC input (single-phase) and can control 3 to 5 Horsepower rated permanent magnet motors. The AC line frequency is 50 / 60 Hertz. Model of the controller is basic on-off. This model of the controller has a power unit with one two-pole AC circuit breaker. Other models for the controller that are available including run-brake model, reversing-brake model, and power unit only model. Available options for SE2000 series controller include enhanced process follower, digital signal follower, controlled deceleration stop and fault module. Performance characteristics for the SE2105 include speed range of 30:1, armature voltage feedback of ±2% and tachometer feedback of ±1/2% (depending on the tach generator).

The current range for the controller can be adjusted to between 25 and 150%. The maximum motor speed can be adjusted on the SE2105 for 60 to 110% of the base motor speed. The minimum motor speed can be adjusted on the controller for 0 to 30% for the base motor speed. The preset jog can be adjusted to between 0 and 100% of base motor speed. The motor acceleration can be set to between 0.3 to 30 seconds. The motor deceleration can be set to between 0.3 to 30 seconds. at 230 Volts AC input, the DC armature output voltage is 0 to 180 Volts DC and the field output is 100/200 Volts DC. The SE2105 should be powered off before any servicing or troubleshooting is carried out. Only trained and qualified technical personnel should be allowed to install and operate the controller and associated machinery.
