Product Description
The Kollmorgen S7720F-NANA-S4 is a digital servo amplifier intended to be operated with a compatible servomotor in an industrial environment. The device has good autotuning capability. It is perfect for performing complex drive tasks. It can be set up quickly as there are connectors for all connections. The unit is equipped with a memory card for firmware and parameter updates. The rated current of the servo amplifier is 72 Arms. Its electrical/mechanical option is coated PCBs. If the device is used in residential areas, additional filter measures should be taken. The ambient conditions of the product should be strictly followed when transporting, storing, operating, and maintaining the device.
Only copper conductors should be used to wire the S700 digital servo amplifier. The cross-sections of the conductor can be derived from standard IEC 60204. The use of the unit is prohibited in potentially explosive areas, including environments with corrosive and/or electrically conductive acids, oils, alkaline solutions, vapors, or dust. The device should not be operated directly on non-grounded supply networks or asymmetrically earthed supplies with a voltage exceeding 240 V. The product should not come into contact with highly insulating materials like artificial fabrics and plastic films.
The S700 digital servo amplifier should be repaired only by the manufacturer. If the user opens the device, the warranty becomes invalid. This unit is listed under UL file number E217428. The product can be set up using the software DRIVEGUI.EXE, which comes with the delivery package. It is set up via the serial interface of a computer. The unit is equipped with an integrated 24V step/direction interface to connect the servomotor to a stepper controller.
