The S7720F-NANA-PA is a digital servo amplifier from Kollmorgen that is a safety component built into an electrical machine. It can be operated only as an integral part of that machine. The device is meant for use in industrial environments. However, if it is used in residential areas, the user should deploy additional filter measures to avoid unfavorable circumstances. The amplifier must be mounted within a closed control cabinet. The temperature within the cabinet should be maintained below 40°C. Only copper conductors must be used for wiring the device.

It should be noted that the use of the S700 digital servo amplifier is prohibited in several environments, especially potentially explosive areas, including environments with corrosive and/or electrically conductive acids, oils, vapors, dust, or alkaline solutions, directly on non-grounded supply networks, or on offshore applications. The unit should be transported only in the original recyclable packaging of Kollmorgen by qualified personnel. If the user finds that the packaging is damaged, he or she should check the product for visible damage. In the case of damage, the manufacturer and shipper must be informed.

The S700 digital servo amplifier contains electrostatically sensitive components. These are likely to be damaged if the unit is handled incorrectly. The permissible storage temperature of the unit is -25 to +55°C. The product can be stored for less than one year without restrictions. However, if it is stored for more than one year, its capacitors should be re-formed before the setup and operation. It must be noted that the device should not be immersed in or sprayed with water or any other liquid. If there is dirt inside the servo amplifier, only the manufacturer is allowed to clean it.
