The S7720F-DNF2-PM is a new-generation industrial servo amplifier designed by the highly trained engineers of Kollmorgen. The servo amplifier is designed to improve industrial operation process by carrying out the accurate control of the speed, position, and torque output of servo motors. It is intended to be used exclusively for synchronous, asynchronous, and DC servo motors. This amplifier is designed according to international quality and safety standards, it features a modular design and is sold with a 12-month warranty. A 3-character LED display unit is integrated into the front panel of the servo amplifier, the display serves a user-friendly interface for operators to monitor the operation status of the servo amplifier in real time. The S7720F-DNF2-PM servo amplifier can be used in residential and commercial areas, however operators will be required to provide additional measures to protect the amplifier from electrical interference.

The S7720F-DNF2-PM servo amplifier operates with a rated supply voltage that falls between 208 to about 480 volts, also the input power required by the servo amplifier for continuous operation is about 50 kilovolts amperes. The servo amplifier also has a current rating of 72 amperes, and a maximum output current rating of 140 amperes. An efficient air blower is integrated into the housing of this servo amplifier, the air blower dissipates excess heat from the amplifier via forced ventilation.

Special expansion cards are integrated into this servo amplifier to improve its operation, some of the expansion cards include the Fan controller expansion card which reduces the noise generated by the amplifier, and the PosI/O expansion card. The maximum permissible installation height for the S7720F-DNF2-PM servo amplifier is about 1000 meters above sea level.
