The S7720C-SNF2-S4 digital servo amplifier from Kollmorgen is used to drive different kinds of motors with closed loop control of position, speed, and torque. This servo amplifier delivers maintenance-free operation. The product is mounted vertically in a switchgear cabinet with at least an IP 54 protection rating according to EN 60529 specifications. This device must not be opened for repair or cleaning by the user. The unit should be used in its original form without hardware modification. Its safety card is capable of implementing the STO function if needed. This amplifier has a power section with a B6 bridge rectifier.
The product comes integrated with a power supply and EMC filters. This device is designed to be operated with an AC input. The device has a Node ID switch in its Synqnet expansion card. This unit has a leakage current of more than 3.5 mA. Its first two digital inputs are high-speed inputs and can be used for latch functions. The amplifier also has a couple of analog setpoint inputs.
