The S7720C-SNF2-PM digital servo amplifier by Kollmorgen needs a mains choke fitting if the mains voltage asymmetry is more than 3%. This servo amplifier can be associated with a DC input after it has been reviewed and evaluated for overvoltage, input current rating, fuse protection, wire size, branch circuit protection, and more. The product must never have a periodic overvoltage rating of more than 1000 V between its housing and outer conductors. This device is susceptible to damage because of improper polarity of DC power. The unit is designed to drive brushless synchronous servomotors with closed-loop torque, position, and speed control. Its inbuilt EMC filters will not work if it is associated with a DC supply. This amplifier must undergo a periodic test of the safe switching of its pulse inhibitor to achieve PL e or SIL CL3.

The product cannot be used directly on non-grounded supply networks with more than 240 V voltage rating. This device has a maximum relative humidity of 95% without condensation during its transportation. The unit supports a storage period of up to one year without restriction. It should be taken care that no liquid enters inside while cleaning. This amplifier does not require any maintenance.

The product must be decommissioned only 10 minutes after it has been disconnected from the power supply. The device comes equipped with a built-in fan. This unit can be cleaned on the exteriors using isopropanol or a similar agent. Its protective earth connection must be disconnected only after all the connectors have been disconnected. The servo amplifier has a SCCR of 200 kA.
