Product Description

The Kollmorgen S7720C-PNF2-NA digital servo amplifier has a separate switching off action for each STO input. This servo amplifier has a leakage current of more than 3.5 mA. The product uses a connecting cable with a cross-section of more than 10 mm2 for its protective earth connection. This device installation must be done in a site that is free of corrosive or conductive materials. The unit is neither EAC Certified nor UL Listed. It is mounted on the backplane of the switchgear cabinet using six M5 hexagon socket screws and a 4 mm Allen key. This amplifier gets damaged because of a wrong mains voltage or wrong wiring.

The product relies on a PLC to monitor its status. This device uses a cable with less than 120 pF/m for its feedback cable. The unit needs an isolating transformer connection when it is connected to asymmetrically grounded or non-grounded networks with a voltage rating of 400 V to 480 V. Its DC bus link terminals can be connected in parallel. This amplifier supports an external brake resistor connection at its X8 connector. The product protects the connected motor from overloading.

This device supports a wide range of feedback types. The unit requires start-up information for its position controller whenever the 24 V auxiliary voltage is turned on and it has an incremental encoder for feedback. Its first and second expansion card slots are empty. The servo amplifier has a fan controller to reduce the noise emissions. The product associated parameters are set up using the DRIVEGUI. EXE software.
