Product Description
The S7720C-PBF2-PM Kollmorgen digital servo amplifier is not meant to be operated as a standalone component. This servo amplifier can be set up easily by using the DRIVEGUI.EXE software. The product can be cleaned only on the outside by the user. This device must be used in adherence to its technical data. The unit may cause minor burns if its housing surface is touched when it is under operation. It poses lethal danger on its live parts. This amplifier poses a risk of electric shock if the earthing connection has not been established to the protective earth busbar present in the switchgear cabinet.
The product is not recommended for using a DC input for single or group installations without performing the required evaluations. This device should be handled and transported by taking care to ensure that its components do not get bent. The unit must be installed only on sites that are free of conductive and/or corrosive material. It must not be allowed to come into contact with other electronic components and contacts. This amplifier may have to be fitted with a heat exchange if there is no adequate flow of filtered and cool air at the bottom of the cabinet.
The product must be mounted at a considerable distance from devices that produce magnetic fields. This device should be assembled as close as possible to the choke and filter on the grounded and conductive mounting plate inside the control cabinet. The unit has six M5 hexagonal socket screws complying with ISO 4762 specifications for the coldplate. Its heat conduction is increased by using a heat conducting film. This servo amplifier comprises capacitors that take time to discharge after switching off the power.
