The S7720C-NANA-S4 digital servo amplifier by Kollmorgen has no expansion cards in the first and second slots. This servo amplifier reports a communication error when a wrong PC interface is selected. The product must be mounted in the vertical orientation. This device can be used to drive different kinds of motors under closed loop of torque, speed, and position control. The unit has a TUV certification for its STO function. It has potentially live sections during its operation phase. This amplifier must be connected to the protective earth by using a cable with a cross-section of more than 10 mm2.

The product may cause minor burns if its hot surface is touched during or immediately after its use. This device is not to be operated without establishing a low resistance earthing connection. The unit might restart automatically when there is a voltage dip or an interruption in the supply voltage based on how its parameters have been set. Its hardware can be modified only after getting permission from the manufacturer. This amplifier needs a mains choke connection if the mains voltage asymmetry is more than 3%.

The product casing can be cleaned using isopropanol or a similar cleaning solution. This device is not supposed to be operated immediately after it has been cleaned.
