Product Description
The Kollmorgen S7720C-NAF2-S3 digital servo amplifier must be matched with a motor by comparing their current and voltage ratings. This servo amplifier related power and control cables must be routed at a distance of at least 200 mm from each other. The product associated power cables must have an adequate cross-section according to IEC 60204 specifications. This device has an operating frequency of 50/60 Hz. The unit portrays a varying voltage rise speed according to its rated voltage. The unit can be cleaned only on the outside using a cleaning agent like isopropanol. It should be made sure that its protective earth connection is removed only after all the other connections are removed. This amplifier comprises digital control inputs as per EN 61131-2 specifications.
The product uses a Mini-Combicon connector for its auxiliary voltage and STO function. This device can be fitted with an external braking resistor if needed. The unit has an IP 20 protection class according to EN 60529 specifications. Its memory card is used to store firmware and parameter updates. This amplifier relies on a Windows PC for the installation of its DRIVEGUI.EXE setup software. The product portrays a continuous output current of 72 Arms.
This device has a shielding connection on the front panel. The unit encompasses plug-in terminal blocks that must be wired according to the connection diagram given in its manual. Its DC bus link cable must be shielded if the length is more than 0.50 m in a single-axis system. This servo amplifier directly controls the holding brake of a motor if the brake has a current rating of up to 3 A.
