Product Description
The Kollmorgen S7720C-NAF2-PM digital servo amplifier cannot be operated in ships and for offshore applications. This servo amplifier is used as an integral component of electrical machines and/or plants. The product may trigger high-frequency interference when it is deployed for residential use. This device must be installed in a switchgear cabinet with at least an IP 54 protection class. Its STO function cannot be activated if the amplifier is deactivated for cleaning, maintenance, and repair actions. The servo amplifier can help to prevent the restart of a system with the STO function.
This product has different tightening torques for the terminals in its X0 and X8 connectors based on the cross-section of the wires. The device uses cage clamps for tightening some connectors. This unit portrays Class 3M1 vibrations according to IEC 60721-3-3 specifications. Its mounting plate has a flatness of less than or equal to 100 mm. The amplifier has a fuse rating of 8 A for its 24 V electronics.
This product has a three-character LED display that indicates its status after the 24 V supply is turned on. The device is fed with energy using the connected motor during the braking operation. This unit uses a special procedure for switching off the output stage if the holding brake function is enabled. Its behavior is determined by how various parameters such as ACTFAULT and STOPMODE have been set. The servo amplifier performs a controlled shutdown and retains the energy supply to the machinery when the Category 2 Stop function is implemented.
