The Kollmorgen S7720A-NANA-S4 is a digital servo amplifier that is designed for driving suitable brushless synchronous and asynchronous servomotors and DC motors with control of speed, torque, and/or position. The device has the fastest feedback evaluation in the market. The servo amplifier can be supplied from a 3-phase earthed industrial supply network. The transport of the unit should be handled only by qualified personnel in the original recyclable packaging. Shocks must be avoided during transit. The device should not come into contact with highly insulating materials like plastic films and artificial fabrics.

The maximum stacking height of the S700 digital servo amplifier is 3 cartons. The unit can be stored for less than one year without restrictions. The product should not be immersed in or sprayed with water or any other liquid for cleaning. The unit does not incorporate the motor over-temperature sensing option. The site altitude at which the device can be operated is up to 1000 meters above mean sea level without any limitations. The product has an in-built fan for cooling. There is a 3-character LED display on the unit that shows its working status after switching on the 24V supply.

The S700 digital servo amplifier has the functional safe restart lock STO, using which the drive can be secured in standstill mode with its internal electronics. In this case, even when power is supplied, the drive shaft is well protected against an unintentional restart. The device must be protected from impermissible stress. The user should not allow any components to bend or any insulation distances to be altered at the time of handling and transport. Contact with electronic components should also be avoided to prevent an unfavorable situation.
