Product Description
The S7720A-NANA-PM is a digital servo amplifier from the house of Kollmorgen. The device has a voltage rating of 208 to 480 V. The product automatically restarts after powering on when the AENA parameter is set to value 1. The leakage current of the product is over 3.5 mA. The STO function of the unit has two channels. The product has the Posl/O expansion card in the third slot. The card provides an additional Sub-D connector (X5) that is equipped with high-speed, bi-directional digital 5 V inputs/outputs. The various input and output functions of the expansion card can be preset using the setup software, DRIVEGUI.EXE.
The S700 digital servo amplifier has a rated DC bus link voltage ranging from 290 V to 675 V. The permitted switch on/off frequency of the device is 30 1/h. The peak output current of the product for approximately five seconds is 140 Arms with a tolerance of +/- 3%. The residual voltage drop of the unit is 6 V at rated current. Before handling the components of the drive, the user should measure the voltage in the DC bus link and wait until it drops below 60 V. The servo amplifier should not be modified.
The capacitors of the servo amplifier can have dangerous voltages for up to 8 minutes even after turning off the power supply. When the device is live, all covers and the cabinet door should be kept closed. Touching exposed contacts can lead to severe injury and sometimes death. Only well-qualified personnel are allowed to perform tasks such as setup, transport, assembly, and maintenance. These technicians should know and follow the IEC 60364 and IEC 60664 specifications as well as the national accident prevention regulations.
