Product Description

The Kollmorgen S7720A-NAF2-NA digital servo amplifier has a fan controller in the second expansion card slot. This servo amplifier has a residual voltage of at least 10 minutes after its power supply has been removed. This product must have a mains choke connection near it if the mains voltage asymmetry exceeds 3%. The device must not have a transient overvoltage of more than 1000 V between its outer conductors for less than 50 µs. This unit has not been evaluated by the manufacturer for replacing the AC input with a DC input for both single and group installations. Its wiring must be done according to the connection diagram using 60 °C or 75 °C copper conductor wires. This amplifier is not supposed to be used in areas where there is a possibility of an explosion.

The product must not be commissioned if the machine in which it is installed is not in compliance with the EC machinery directive requirements. This device directly controls the holding brake of a motor if the brake has a current rating of up to 3 A. The unit must be transported at a temperature ranging from -25 °C to 70 °C with a maximum rate of change of 20K per hour. Its nameplate on the outside of the packaging box matches the nameplate attached to the side of its housing. This amplifier can be stored without restriction for a period of less than one year.

The product encompasses a soft-start circuit and an integral supply filter in its power section. This device supports the parallel connection of its DC link voltage. The unit uses a brake resistor to help in the dynamic distribution of the generated power among multiple amplifiers on the same DC bus link circuit. It must be installed vertically. This servo amplifier has a separate 24 V supply input for its digital outputs.
