The S7720A-FBF2-NA digital servo amplifier from Kollmorgen offers fast feedback evaluation. This servo amplifier can be fitted with a memory card to back up and store its parameters and firmware. The product has a fast setup process because of its autotuning functionality. This device supports Hiperface DSL and SFD3 feedback using a single cable. The unit is meant to be stored between -25 °C and 55 °C at 1K4 operating class. It should not be touched during its operation. This amplifier is designed to deliver maintenance-free operation.

The product has a protective grill on the fan. The device can be cleaned only on its exterior using cleaning agents and accessories like isopropanol and a dry brush. This unit must be touched only at least 10 minutes after it has been disconnected from the power supply. Its potential earth connection must be disconnected only after all the other connectors have been removed. The amplifier is not meant to be repaired by the user.

This product comprises motion block, position control, and operating parameters that can be set with an ordinary commercial PC using the setup software. The device and the PC must have no active power supply connection when the interface cable is plugged in or removed. This unit must be adapted to the requirements of the machine in which the installation is done. Its software has not been tested for systems with Windows running within Linux or Unix. The servo amplifier can be assigned a name of up to eight characters in length on the Basic Setup screen in the DRIVEGUI.EXE software.
