The S7720A-DNF2-NA digital servo amplifier from Kollmorgen can be operated with a brushless synchronous servomotor with a closed loop control of torque, speed, and position control. This servo amplifier can also be connected to a third-party stepper motor controller. The product comes with integrated EMC filters that work only with an AC input. This device also incorporates a power supply that renders inrush current protection by limiting the input current during power up. The unit should be used with a motor featuring a rated voltage that is at least as high as the DC bus link voltage of the amplifier. It must not be used on ships and for offshore applications.
