Product Description

The S7720A-DNF2-F2 Kollmorgen digital servo amplifier uses a null-modem cable for connection to a commercial PC. This product can be set up easily using the setup wizard of the DRIVEGUI.EXE software. The device should be switched off before inserting or removing its memory card. The unit must not have an active power connection when repair work is done on it. Its firmware to be programmed can be stored in the memory card in either binary format or S-record format. This amplifier must be used with only a motor that matches its current and voltage ratings.

The product is connected to the COM port of a PC. This device portrays a blinking red light on its DeviceNet expansion card when there is an error to be cleared or there is at least one I/O connection in the waiting state. The unit allows its transmission speed to be set in one of three ways. Its DRIVEGUI.EXE software comes with the autostart function activated. This amplifier causes the motor to oscillate if the feedback cable shielding is broken.

The product displays the F13 fault code when the ambient temperature has been exceeded. This device is operated through the standard menu by default. The unit will often require a restart if its configuration parameters have been changed. Its DRIVEGUI.EXE software can be operated in either online or offline mode. This servo amplifier associated CD-ROM has separate manuals for each type of expansion card. The product comprises motion-block, position control, and operating parameters. This device has an EEPROM that is used to save its data set if an input is newly assigned to a pre-programmed function.
