The S77202-EIF2-NA product belongs to the S700 family of high efficiency and reliable servo amplifiers designed and developed by Kollmorgen. The company is determined to solve industrial automation challenges with its cutting edge technology.

The S700 servo amplifier comes in a cardboard packaging that prevents damage-free delivery. It can be identified by the attached nameplate. A 3-character LED display is included in the package which helps diagnosis error state by showing error codes. It is well-suited for operation in ambient temperature range of 0 to +40 degree Celsius without data loss. Above this, data deration may occur. This module can be setup via serial interface using Kollmorgen's user friendly software DRIVEGUI.EXE. If no PC is available, the servo amplifier can be directly operated using two available keys and an LED display. It is allowed to be installed at a maximum height of 1000 meters above sea surface. It is allowed to be installed in a closed cabinet only. A built-in cooling fan is available to dissipate excessive heat during operation. The module is intended for vertical mounting. The permitted switch ON/OFF frequency for the device is 30 1/h.

The servo amplifier by Kollmorgen is engineered to be operation with input of 50 kVA of rated power for continuous operation. It offers a peak output current of 140 Arms for 5 seconds with +/- 3% tolerance. The module has 13 kg of weight and required careful handling during installation. For this model, no expansion card in slot 3 is available. The B6 bridge rectifier and position controller is available in this variant. It offers complete digital control including speed and position. The device comes with 2 programmable analog inputs and 4 digital inputs.
