The S7480F-NANA-S4 is a sophisticated digital servo amplifier manufactured by Kollmorgen for the accurate control of the speed, position, and torque output of synchronous, asynchronous, and DE motors used in industrial applications. This servo amplifier is a modular device that is designed according to the IP20 protection class as is intended to be operated as an integral components of electrical plants or machines. The digital servo amplifier is intended to meet the highest standards of industrial quality and operational safety, before the amplifier is delivered it is tested and certified to be perfectly safe, and to operate exactly as it is described. The servo amplifier is delivered as a standard with a safety guide, mating connectors, and online documentation and a setup software present on a CD-ROM. Other accessories such as mating SubD connectors, electrical cables, external brake resistors and mains choke are not delivered with the servo amplifier and are intended to be ordered separately by users that need them. The S7480F-NANA-S4 servo amplifier requires a large supply voltage that ranges between 208 to about 480 volts, the amplifier also features a resolver, encoder, AquaB encoder, and comcoder evaluation onboard. A memory card slot s also present on the front panel of the servo amplifier, the memory card slot is designed for either the MMC or SD memory card design. The permissible ambient temperature range for the operation of this servo amplifier falls between 0 to about 40 degree Celsius, also the amplifier should not be used at an height that exceeds 1000 meters above sea level. An air blower is integrated into this servo amplifier to ensure proper ventilation and dissipation of excess heat away from the amplifier through forced ventilation.
