Product Description
The S7480F-NAF2-S3 is an industrial servo amplifier manufactuered by Kollmorgen to improve industrial efficiency by carrying out the accurate monitoring and control of the torque speed, and position of industrial motors. This servo amplifier is exclusively intended to be used with synchronous asynchronous, and DC motors. The combination of this servo amplifier with compatible motor designs forms a rapid response automatization system that can be used in various industrial applications including textile industries, robotics, food processing applications, and lots more. The servo amplifier meets the highest standards, of operational safety, some of its integrated safety features include over-voltage detection, short-circuit protection, phase-failure monitoring and temperature monitoring of the servo amplifier and the connected motor. A slot for optional safety card of more safety functions of the safe drive operation is also present.
The configuration of the S7480F-NAF2-S3 servo amplifier is should be done through a compatible PC, however if this is not available, direct operation by two keys on the servo amplifier and a LED 3-charater display can be used for the configuration and operation of the servo amplifier. The S7480F-NAF2-S3 servo amplifier also features a digital current controller, and an integrated position controller with adjustable possibilities for all applications.
The S7480F-NAF2-S3 servo amplifier generates a rated output current of 48 amperes during operation, this output current can however be as high as 96 amperes. Also, the rated supply voltage falls between 208 to about 480 amperes. During operation, the servo amplifier generates a noise of about 62 decibels. The total weight of the device is about 13 kilograms. The permissible ambient temperature for the operation of the S7480F-NAF2-S3 servo amplifier falls between 0 to about 40 degree Celsius.
