The setup software is the only permissible way to modify the operation of the amplifier. The S7480A-FBF2-NA industrial servo amplifier has an housing unit that provides protection according to the IP20 protection class, however to ensure optimum protection, the amplifier should be installed into an additional control cabinet that provides a minimum protection that meets the IP54 class.
