The S7480A-DNF2-NA is a unique digital servo amplifier designed by highly trained engineers of Kollmorgen. This digital servo amplifier is designed to be used exclusively with synchronous, asynchronous, and DC motor series, it is a maintenance free device and can be used in a wide range of production and processing applications. The S7480A-DNF2-NA digital servo amplifier belongs to the overvoltage category III according to EN 61800-5-1, it can be supplied from 3-phase grounded industrial supply networks such as the TN-system, and the TT-system with a grounded neutral point. The connection of the servo amplifier to other types of supply networks is possible, however these will require the use of an isolating transformer. The enclosure of this servo amplifier provides it with protection according to IP20, however the amplifier still requires installation into an additional control cabinet that can provide a minimum protection that meets IP54. The S7480A-DNF2-NA servo amplifier generates a rated output current of 48 amperes during operation, this output current can be as high as 96 amperes.
