The S7480A-2CF2-F2 is a digital servo amplifier designed by Kollmorgen to improve industrial automation process by ensuring the accurate control of the speed, position and torque output of industrial servo motor. This amplifier is a state-of-the-art device designed exclusively for synchronous, asynchronous, and DC motors, the combination of this amplifier and industrial servo motor forms a rapid response system that is well suited for use in a wide range of industrial applications including food processing machines, paper processing machines, transfer facilities, and lots more. The amplifier is designed according to the IP20 protection class, for optimum protection, it must only be operated in a closed control cabinet. The S7480A-2CF2-F2 digital servo amplifier can be used in residential and business areas, however the user will be required to implement additional mains filter measures to prevent electrical interference.
The S7480A-2CF2-F2 industrial servo amplifier requires a rated supply voltage that falls between 208 to about 480 volts, also the rated input power required by the amplifier for continuous operation is about 35 kilovolts amperes. This servo amplifier is designed with a built-in fan that ensures proper ventilation in the control cabinet, at rated current about 555 to 685 watts of thermal energy is dissipated from the servo amplifier.
