The S74802-NANA-S4 is a high-performing digital servo amplifier from the house of Kollmorgen. The device is a safety component built into an electrical plant or machine. It can be operated only as an integral component of that plant or machine. The equipment is designed for driving suitable brushless synchronous servomotors, asynchronous motors and DC motors with control of torque, speed and/or position. The rated voltage of the motor should be at least as high as the DC bus link voltage divided by 2 produced by the servo amplifier. The S700 servo amplifier comes with an in-built fan for ventilation. Its height is 385 mm including the fan and its width is 190 mm. The rated line power of the equipment for S1 operation is 35 kVA. Its rated DC link voltage is 290 to 675 V. The product contains electrostatically sensitive components, which are prone to damage if handled incorrectly. The user should discharge himself or herself before touching the device. Care should be exercised so that the unit does not come in contact with highly insulating materials, including artificial fabrics and plastic films. The servo amplifier should always be placed on a conductive surface. At the time of operation, the heat sink of the servo amplifier may reach temperatures above 80°C (176°F), causing a risk of minor burns! So, before touching the device, the user should check the temperature and wait until it has cooled down below 40°C (104°F). The repair of the unit should be done only by the manufacturer. Opening the devices means a loss of the guarantee. In general, the equipment does not need maintenance. The inside of the unit should be cleaned only by the manufacturer.
