Product Description

S74802-DNF2-PM is a Kollmorgen S700 series digital servo amplifier. It supports dual channel Safe Torque Off (STO). The amplifier is designed for AC input at 208 to 480 Volts AC. This wide voltage range allows use of the unit with a range of AC power supplies. It supports 50/60 Hertz line frequency. The rated output at all input voltages is 48 Amps rms. Under high load conditions, the S74802-DNF2-PM can deliver 96 Amps output for up to 5 seconds. The S74802-DNF2-PM has three slots for expansion modules. Slot 1 on the unit is equipped with a DeviceNet expansion card. The DeviceNet address can be set via the rotary switches on the front of the card. Transmission speed of the DeviceNet card can be set via baud rate rotary switch on the front of the card. Slot 2 on the drive unit is equipped with a fan control card. Slot 3 on the S74802-DNF2-PM is equipped with a position I/O card. Kollmorgen has designed the S74802-DNF2-PM with an IP20 rated enclosure. The drive must be installed inside a switchgear cabinet. The recommended ambient temperature for operation is 0 to 40 degrees Celsius. The output derates at a rate of 2.5%/K at temperatures between 40 to 55 degrees Celsius. The recommended ambient temperature for storage is -25 to 55 degrees Celsius. The unit can be stored for up to one year without restrictions. If stored for more than one year, capacitors must be re-formed before it is set up. The amplifier can be used at altitudes of up to 1000 meters without any restriction. The relative humidity range is up to 85%. Kollmorgen has designed the unit for vertical mounting.
