Product Description
Kollmorgen is a leading company in producing advanced control technology for industrial automation. Kollmorgen delivers a vast range of devices like linear actuators, servo motors, motion controllers and AGV technology. The S71202-NANANA-NA from Kollmorgen is part of the S700 series of digital servo-amplifiers for industry. This servoamplifier can be commanded by an additonal controller via the integrated EtherCAT or CANopen communication port.
This servo drive needs a 3-phase 208 / 480 volts AC voltage supply (at a frequency of 50 hz).
The device is able to generate a stable current of 12000 mA and is able to deliver to the motor a limit current of 24 ampere (for no longer than 5 seconds). The configuration of the S71202-NANANA-NA must be done via the setup DRIVEGUI program connecting a common computer to the system using its integrated RS-232 port. The drive is provided with a basic mono channel verified safety STO feature that will allow the servoamplifier to gain the following certifications: Performance Level D CAT 3 and SIL 2, according to EN 62061.
This servoamplifier has a collection of built-in Input/Outputs such as 2 programmable 24 V DC digital input/outputs (they work both as inputs or outputs), 4 programmable 24 V DC digital inputs, and 2 analog 10 V inputs. They can be configured in a way to accomodate all the customer's requirements. The limit altitude for the system to be installed to permit the module to function correctly should be 3280 feet over the sea level, permitting up to 8200 feet above the sea level adopting power derating (2.5 % / 328 m). This model should be installed in a spot complying to IEC 60664-1 pollution grade 2 meaning that only non-conductive contamination will arise.
