Product Description
Kollmorgen is a leading corporation that supplies motion control systems for automation. Kollmorgen provides a wide collection of devices like AGV components, electric motors, servo drives and motion controllers, having obtained a prominent position in the automation market. The S71201-SENA-NA-0X9 is a model in the Kollmorgen S700 line of digital servo-amplifiers. The amplifier works on a triphase 208 - 480 V AC voltage supply at a frequency of 50/60 hz.
The system could be controlled by a PLC using its SERCOS communication card. The S71201-SENA-NA-0X9 drive is able to provide a continous current of 12 ampere and is able to supply the connected motor a peak current of 24 A for a time below 5 seconds. The environment temperature near the device shall be in the following range: 0… 45 degrees Celsius while the equipment is working and shall be maintained between -25 and 55 degrees Celsius when the module is stored.
The full parametrization of the servodrive should be performed via the DRIVEGUI setup program connecting an ordinary Personal Computer to the amplifier with its integrated RS-232 port (X8).
The S71201-SENA-NA-0X9 offers a primary mono channel safety STO feature that permits the subsystems (servo drives) to gain PLd, according to EN 13849-1 and SIL CL 2 (EN 62061). The S71201-SENA-NA-0X9 is provided with a group of built-in Input/Outputs, such as two analog inputs, four digital inputs and two digital inputs/outputs (selectable direction), that may be configured in order to accomodate the user's needs. The max site height for the system to be mounted to allow the servodrive to run at full power should be 1000 meters above mean sea level, supporting 2500 meters above the sea level practicing energy derating (1.5 % every 100 meters).
