Product Description
Kollmorgen produces advanced control systems for industrial automation. The company offers a broad range of systems such as motion controllers, AGV technology, electric drives and servo motors, having acquired an important position in the market. The Kollmorgen S702602-SENANA is included in the S700 line of electric servo-drives for industry. The system requires a 3-phase 208 - 480 V AC voltage supply at 50/60 Hz.
The amplifier is able to deliver to the motor an RMS current of 6000 mA and can deliver to the connected motor a limit current of 12 ampere (for no more than 5 seconds). The system could be directly connected to an external motion controller via its SERCOS protocol fieldbus socket present on the embedded first extension card or using the CANopen or EtherCAT integrated interface. The entire configuration of the servo amplifier may be performed using the DRIVEGUI setup program attaching an ordinary computer system to the S702602-SENANA drive with its embedded PC (RS-232) socket.
The max site elevation for the servodrive to be mounted to permit the device to function properly is 3280 ft above the sea level, tolerating 8200 ft above mean sea level adopting power derating (1.5 % / 328 m). The drive is provided with a base single-channel safety Safe-Torque-Off (STO) function that will allow the S702602-SENANA to reach PLd (according to EN 13849-1) and SIL Level 2, according to IEC 62061.
The device is provided with a set of integrated I/Os with 2 digital outputs, 4 digital inputs and 2 analog inputs, that may be oriented to fit the user's needs. The drive must be installed in locations admitted by IEC 60664-1 pollution grade 2 which means that only non-conductive alteration can arise.
