S70302-PBNAS4 is a S700 series digital servo amplifier from Kollmorgen. It is designed for motor control applications. The amplifier supports a wide input voltage range from 208 to 480 Volts AC (three-phase). Integrated communication options include EtherCAT, CANopen and RS-232 serial. Multiple integrated evaluation options are available, include resolver, encoder, ComCoder and AuqadB encoder. The amplifier also supports an integrated position controller. A memory card slot is also available. The memory card can be used to back up the firmware and operating parameters. The S70302-PBNAS4 amplifier can be used to control synchronous servo motors, asynchronous servo motors, DC motors and linear motors. Operators can connect the amplifier directly to grounded AC mains. Interference suppression filters are integrated for the electrical supply feed and the 24 Volts auxiliary supply voltage. Integrated safety features include soft-start, short-circuit protection, overvoltage detection, and phase-failure monitoring. integrated I/Os include two programmable analog inputs, four programmable digital inputs, two programmable digital inputs/outputs, one Enable input and two STO Enable inputs. The module amplifier has three expansion slots. Slot 1 is equipped with a Profibus module, slot 2 is vacant, and Slot 3 is equipped with a safety card. The amplifier requires 2.2 kVA input power for continuous operation. The rated output is 5 Amps rms at 208 Volts AC, 4 Amps rms at 230 Volts AC, and 3 Amps rms at 400/480 Volts AC. The peak output current that the unit can sustain for 2 seconds is 9 Amps rms. The peak output current that the unit can sustain for 5 seconds is 6 Amps rms. Thermal dissipation of the S70302-PBNAS4 amplifier at rated current is 70 Watts. Weight of the unit is 4.4 kilograms.
