Product Description
The SERVOSTAR-620-AS-FAN is an example of a servo amplifier that operates in extended ranges in terms of non-controlled physical parameters, poses high dynamic within the prescribed limits, and has a rather advanced safety and thermal management design installed. Provided with 24V / 7mA control inputs that must comply with the IEC 61131, it could communicate control signals as outputs of 24V / max. 500mA compatibility. The supply inputs of the amplifier circuit work with 24V (18~36V) / 100mA with additional output current of control wiring.
The models have a capability of controlling input differential voltages of +10 volts that have a resolution of up to 14-bits. There is a supporting gain controller built in the amplifier, where Kp, P- gain can be adjusted for the control loop configuration, thus promoting reliability in all operating conditions. Also affected are the two values Irms which is the r.m.s value of the continuous current and Ipeak which is the effective value of the peak current; both affects the motors output performance consistently. Moreover, the system is able to represent binary numbers in terms of GRAY-code supports position control.
It is noteworthy that input drift, such as that occurring as a result of temperature drift and age degradation, is well controlled. The holding brake feature is implemented to be applied only when the rotor has come to a standstill. This greatly increases the safety when the machine is idle. The motor also has a limit switch on the vertical slide to restrict the machines traverse path in order to avoid overtravel and damage to the machine.
