Product Description

The SERVOSTAR-610-AS-PROFI is the latest family member, the highly integrated and industrial-grade with advanced features and capabilities electric servo amplifier. A differential input range of ~ 10 V is allowed where terminal X3/7 is used as a ground reference and the input resistor is 2.4 k1/2. In addition to the control over the channel, it works with a common voltage ~ 10 V and has response time of 62.5 us. ARRY and GRAY- code capabilities enhanced the usability of the hand for binary representation. It could also operate with a holding brake, which when not in use could only be engaged when the motor is at rest.

The SERVOSTAR 610-AS-PROFI as a read-only rather than anisotropic version has inbuilt measures to cater for input drift which arises from such factors as temperature changes and age advances on the analog inputs over a long run. It controls successfully Ipeak, effective value of the peak current and Irms the r.m.s. of the current continuous value, with variable Kp P-gain to achieve better precision on the process control loop. The system incorporates heat management features when the temperature of internal parts rises over 551/4C fans are turned on and low heat sink temperature of less than 601/4C is maintained. An internal brake resistor also dissipates a maximum of 20W when the fan is not on aided by the fans which enhance the efficient brake heat management of the system.

The SERVOSTAR 610-AS-PROFI prepares to enable encoder emulation through the output incremental encoder X5. X5 also handles the incremental encoder interface which enables the operation of the servo amplifier as an encoder, in that the position of the motor shaft is determined from the cyclic-absolute signals from the resolver or encoder.

Frequently Asked Questions about SERVOSTAR-610-AS-PROFI

Q: What is the input range and response time of the SERVOSTAR 610-AS-PROFI?

A: The amplifier operates with a differential input range of ~10V, using terminal X3/7 as the ground reference, with an input resistance of 2.4 k1/2 and a response time of 62.5 us.

Q: How does the SERVOSTAR 610-AS-PROFI manage thermal conditions?

A: The amplifier turns on its fans when internal temperatures exceed 55C and maintains the heat sink temperature below 60C. It also has an internal brake resistor that dissipates up to 20W when the fan is off, aiding in efficient heat management.

Q: What binary representation capabilities does the SERVOSTAR 610-AS-PROFI support?

A: The amplifier supports ARRY and GRAY-code capabilities, enhancing its usability for binary representation in industrial applications.

Q: How does the SERVOSTAR 610-AS-PROFI handle input drift and current control?

A: The amplifier compensates for input drift due to temperature changes and aging, and it controls Ipeak (peak current) and Irms (r.m.s. current) with variable Kp P-gain for precise process control.

Q: What is the role of the X5 interface on the SERVOSTAR 610-AS-PROFI?

A: The X5 interface handles incremental encoder outputs and enables encoder emulation, determining the motor shaft position from cyclic-absolute signals from the resolver or encoder.

Internal Product Review
