The advanced servo amplifier is the SERVOSTAR-603A-AS-PROFI which is capable of operating in any industrial environment and provides features and performance that need high reliability and efficiency. This adopts a MiniCombicon connector with 12 pins and PIN 1 and PIN 12 are coded for connection purposes. This also provides a differential input voltage of ~ 10 V with a resolution of 14 bits for certain operations. The system has a lead loop resistance of 159.8 ohms/km and maximum cable capacitance of 60nF/km thus minimizing signal deterioration over long distances.
The SERVOSTAR 603A-AS-PROFI is highly safe and easily controllable. The BTB/RTO contact is supposed to be installed in the emergency off circuit, which can be done in series with the operated devices thereby allowing the operator to turn off the system where conditions are unsafe. The use of the amplifier also accommodates reversing mode, which permits performance where the direction is changed periodically, and comprises of a ROD-interface for incremental position output which without fail, cleaves through the analog resolver signal. The power contactor is also equipped with system protection functions including phase control system and ferrite rings (ring cores) for suppressing interference.||Specialized software contained either on the CD-ROM supplied or rendered to be downloaded manages the setup of the SERVOSTAR 603A-AS-PROFI further as there are no other means of configuring the system. Serving a general purpose, this software makes it possible for machine users to change the parameters of the amplifier to the needs of their machines. After establishing connection between the PC and the amplifier through a null-modem, users are able to rectify the state of the system since the system is in continuous online connectivity which means real time correction can be made.
