Product Description
The S64001-EC digital servoamplifier by Kollmorgen should be operated only at the permissible current and voltage values to avoid damage to it. The live sections of the servoamplifier and its connections must be removed only after five minutes of disconnection from the main power supply. The unit should not be connected directly to asymmetrically grounded supplies that have a voltage rating of over 240V. It should be stored at a temperature between -25°C and +55°C. To reform the capacitors after a storage period of over one year, all electrical connections must be removed and a single-phase 230VAC voltage must be applied to the terminals.
After cleaning, the device should be operated only after half an hour. The connections of the amplifier must be checked for correct fastening. It comes equipped with an EtherCAT expansion and an electrically isolated integrated RS232 pulse-direction interface. The output stage of the unit has a clock frequency of 8kHz. The enclosure in which the product is mounted has an IP 20 protection rating in adherence to EN 60529 specifications. The function, parameter and error numbers are displayed when the amplifier is operated using the keys present on the front panel.
It is advisable to use low-capacity cables to lessen the chances of current leakage. The amplifier can be assembled using two or four hexagon socket screws that conform to EN 4762 specifications. The screws must be tightened using a 4mm Allen key. The combination of the servoamplifier and the motor with which it is used should be checked before commencing operation. The cables used to connect the device must have a PUR sheathing. The amplifier is connected to the motor using an X9 Power Combicon connector. The product can be shipped to any address worldwide through our trusted global delivery partners.
