The S62001-SE is an S600 series digital servoamplifier manufactured by Kollmorgen. The servoamplifier supports a SERCOS expansion and an AS electric option. The unit has a current rating of 20A. The mechanical and electrical installation must be done only by people with mechanical and electrotechnical expertise. The protective earth connection should be done using a connecting cable that has a cross-section of more than 10mm2. The device maybe used to drive brushless synchronous motors with a closed loop position, speed or torque control. It should not be operated in corrosive environments. The amplifier can be delivered to any address worldwide through our widespread delivery network.
This digital product features Class 3M1 vibrations in accordance with IEC 60721-3-3 specifications. The amplifier operates between temperatures of 0°C and +45°C. The unit makes use of 12AWG wires with a maximum length of 25m for connection to a motor. The Emergency OFFfunction of the device is used to turn off the electrical power supply to the machine in which the amplifier is installed. The servoamplifier can be operated through an isolating transformer for alternative protection against shock hazards.
A copper mesh tape must be used between the earth potential and earthing bolts for current deflection in unfavorable circumstances. The servoamplifier must be installed inside a closed switchgear cabinet in a site that is free of corrosive or conductive materials. The shielding braid of the cable of the product must be clamped to the shielding rail using a cable tie. The digital inputs and outputs are based on IEC 61131 specifications. The subordinate current controller has a bandwidth of more than 1.2kHz. The product can operate in relative humidity of up to 85% without condensation during operation.
