Product Description
The S61400-NA digital servoamplifier from Kollmorgen drives brushless synchronous servomotors from the manufacturer. This product may restart on its own when the power is turned on or when there is a supply voltage interruption or voltage dip. The device must not be allowed to come in contact with materials such as plastic films or artificial fabrics that have high insulation. The PE connection to the unit must be doubled as the leakage current to it is over 3.5mA. Depending on the enclosure protection levels, the unit may encompass uncovered live sections during operation. The amplifier can be transported safely to your address through our reliable delivery partners.
The servoamplifier might experience electrical arcing when the connectors are disconnected due to the dangerous voltages in the capacitors even after the power supply is switched OFF. The device must be operated only inside a closed switchgear cabinet with adequate cooling or ventilation to maintain its ambient temperature. It does not feature any safety functionality in accordance with IEC 61800-5-2 specifications. The unit operates between a temperature range of -25°C and +75°C. The product cannot sense the overtemperature of the motor. The ground bolts have a recommended torque of 3.5Nm.
The amplifier should be operated only in a pollution degree 2 environment. The device conforms to EC Low Voltage Directive and EC EMC Directive. It has a current rating of 14ARMS and does not support any expansion. The unit features two analog setpoint inputs and an integrated RS232, pulse-direction interface. The product encompasses an IGBT module at the output stage with isolated current measurement. The servoamplifier has a quiescent dissipation of 15W when the output stage is disabled. It is recommended that you mount the device vertically. The device is supported by a warranty period for one year.
