The S600 is the series of digital servo amplifiers by Kollmorgen. This series is characterized as being reliable, durable, and robust. The S60600-SE belongs to the S600 family. This servo amplifier has a current rating of 6A arms and has a voltage rating of 230-480 V. It also has an auxiliary supply voltage of 24V DC that is electrically isolated and has a 3.15 AT internal fusing. The S60600-SE must be installed with high precaution as it may have a high voltage of up to 900 V. The installation and wiring must only be done when the amplifier is not live. Never remove the electrical connection to the unit when it is live.

The S60600-SE has no auxiliary electric option and has a SERCOS (Serial real-time communication system) expansion. The receiving data fiber optic is connected to the X13 with an F-SMA connector, and the transmitting data fiber optic is connected with the X14. The auxiliary functions in this drive include 2 programmable digital outputs, 2 analog monitor outputs and 4 programmable digital inputs. The PC interface of this servo amplifier is connected to the serial interface of the computer via null-modem cable. The PC that the S60600-SE is connected must have a minimum main memory of 8MB, a Pentium® II or higher processor, 10MB hard disk space, CD-ROM, and a Windows-compatible color graphics adaptor.
