The S60301-NA servo amplifier is used for position, speed, and current control in synchronous, asynchronous, and servo motors produced by the Kollmorgen. The device has a 12 mH minimum inductance and comes with a host of integrated protection features. The amplifier comes with phase-failure detection and temperature monitoring. The temperatures of motor winding and the amplifier are regularly monitored to protect against overtemperature failure. The system provides completely digital control for the position, speed, and current. In addition to an adjustable speed controller, a customizable speed controller is also provided. The S60301-NA can operate in conditions with up to 85% relative humidity. A temperature range of 5 ᵒC to 45 ᵒC is the most suitable for the system’s operation beyond which a 2.5% power derating occurs.
The S60301-NA can function seamlessly within an elevation range of 1000 m above sea level. The system utilizes forced ventilation for the removal of heat. An inbuilt fan is provided that continuously removes heat from the control cabinet. The system’s integrated protection features include soft start, phase-failure monitoring, and overvoltage protection. The device’s overvoltage protection lies in a range of 450 V to 900 V. The amplifier’s outer enclosure has an IP 20 standard protection. To avoid short-circuiting, suitable insulation and creepage distances have been provided between critical electronic components. The S60301-NA comes with software that enables control over the operational parameters. The software is accessible through a PC. If a PC is not available, then the operational parameters can be set with the help of two buttons and an LED screen.
