Product Description

The SERVOSTAR-403A-S servo amplifier is an all-electric drive that gives accurate motor control and is well-suited for a variety of industrial applications. It provides a free serial interface for easy connectivity and also implements some essential fieldbus protocols such as CANopen, PROFIBUS and SERCOS to enable integration into a number of control environments. It connects with systems based on the Windows 2000 or XP operating systems that do not require a lot of system resources and are quite friendly to users.

An important feature is temperature management, ideally assisted through the fans whose operation depends on internal temperature, heatsink temperature, or brake resistor load. Without this feature so far, the speed normalization is also provided by the amplifier via a clock signal. Even though the structure is intended for industrial applications, the SERVOSTAR 403A-S would lead to generation of high frequency vibrations and interferences in non-industrial areas, version C3 is for machinery cables more than 10m from the motor in EM interference. Conformance with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive is guaranteed by compliance with the EN 50178 standards. This personal robot module servo amplifier is capable of serving the needs of a wide range of complex automation operations while attaining the appropriate degree of safety and regulatory requirements.

The auxiliary supply voltage of 24V for powering the brake and the fan power supply is stated as rated at -0% to +15%, 24 volts with a maximum output current of 2.5 Amperes. Braking torque rating comes along with a maximum output to the brake which is 11.5 Amperes. It is quite safe with BTB/RTO relay switch contacts with fuck loads of 30 volts OHM DC hold 500 mA and 42 OHM AC load 500 mA.
