Product Description
With their wide range of connectivity options, Kollmorgen digital servo amplifiers in the SERVOSTAR 400 series are perfectly designed to interface with a host of applications on the industrial floor. Digital amplifiers in the Kollmorgen SERVOSTAR 400 series are manufactured with CANopen connectivity option allowing several drives to the parameterized using the Windows operating systems and a PC eliminating the need for a master drive. Where other connectivity options are required, Kollmorgen S400 drives support Sercos, EtherCAT, and PROFIBUS expansion cards. Note that the cards enable the drive to seamlessly adapt to the existing industrial network.
The S4036M-SE is a digital servo amplifier in the Kollmorgen SERVOSTAR 400 series. It is supplied with a Sercos expansion card allowing the amplifier to transmit setpoint and actual values that have cycles of between 1 millisecond and 65 milliseconds with an additional interpolation of the setpoints within the drive. With such functionalities, the S4036M-SE offers precise and fast multi-axis control by performing enhanced synchronization. The amplifier has a voltage rating of between 115 Volts AC and 230 Volts AC with an allowance of plus or minus 10 percent and a continuous current rating of 3 ARMS. The S4036M-SE is specially designed to be a master module enabling it to accommodate multiple axis modules.
The Kollmorgen S4036M-SE operates optimally in an environment with an IEC level 2 pollution, and a surrounding temperature of between a minimum of 0.0 degrees Celsius and a maximum of 45 degrees Celsius. With an ingress protection rating of IP 20, the amplifier is meant to be mounted and operated inside an enclosure. The S4036M-SE is specially designed to be used with brushless servo motors employing closed-loop control of position, torque, and or speed.
