Product Description

The Kollmorgen S31061-SE is a high-performing digital servo amplifier intended for use in industrial environments. The device offers a single channel STO function (Safe Torque Off) which can be used as a functional safe restart lock. The casing of the product can be cleaned using isopropanol or a similar cleaning solution. The safety notes provided on the cleaning liquid package should be strictly observed because the device is highly flammable and there is a risk of injury by explosion and fire. The user should wait at least 30 minutes after cleaning before putting the servo amplifier back into operation. The permitted switch on/off frequency of the digital servo amplifier is 30 1/h. The height of the device without connectors is 279 mm. Its depth is <200 mm with connectors and 171 mm without connectors. The relative humidity of the product in operation is 85%. The unit should be installed within a closed control cabinet. Ventilation or cooling is necessary to keep the temperature within the cabinet below 40?C. Only copper conductors should be used for wiring purposes. The mounting position is vertical. The use of the servo amplifier is prohibited in potentially explosive areas, environments with corrosive and/or electrically conductive acids, alkaline solutions, oils, vapors, dust, etc., directly on non-grounded supply networks or on asymmetrically grounded supplies with a voltage >230V, and ships or offshore applications. The unit should be transported only by qualified personnel in the manufacturer?s original recyclable packaging. Shocks must be avoided while transporting. The transport temperature should be maintained between -25 and +70?C. It should be noted that the servo amplifier must not be commissioned if the machine in which it is installed does not meet the requirements of the EC Machinery Directive, does not comply with the EMC Directive or with the Low Voltage Directive and does not comply with any national directives.
