The S31061-NA-SB is a digital servo amplifier that operates on a 4 kVA and 110 V..220 V power supply. With features like space-vector and pulse with modulation, the amplifier offers a completely digital current control. In addition to speed control, an integrated step interface is provided. An RS232 interface allows the system to be fully programmable. The S31061-NA-SB allows incremental encoder emulation and an integrated direction interface for connection with a servo-motor. The system supports multi-feedback and can operate on a three-phase power supply. With an intelligent position controller, the system can be used with different varieties of spindle drives and servo motors. With constant temperature monitoring, the system is protected against overtemperature failure. In addition to accurate position control, the S31061-NA-SB can effectively regulate a motor’s speed because of its adjustable speed controllers.

The S31061-NA-SB has a 3.3 mH inductance and its peak current output is 20 A. The device has a 2.6 kg mass and its noise emission is just 45 db(A). The device comes with onboard CANopen that is used for integration with CAN-bus systems. For better operational safety, the servo amplifier has been provided with an emergency stop switch and a safe torque off (STO) option. When the safe torque off option is activated, it immediately cuts off torque generating current to the motor. The S31061-NA-SB has a 70 mm width, 270 mm height, and 171 mm depth. The S31061-NA-SB also comes with an expansion slot that can support different expansion cards.
