The S30661-FB servo amplifier is a Kollmorgen product designed for the closed loop control of the speed, position, and torque output of brushless synchronous motors. The servo amplifier is designed to maintain the highest standards of operational efficiency as safety, before it is delivered, it is tested and certified to meet these operation standards. The housing of this industrial servo amplifier meets the IP20 protection class, the amplifier is however still required to be operated in a closed control switchgear cabinet that can preserve permissible ambient conditions around the amplifier. The S30661-FB servo amplifier can be connected directly to symmetrically earthed three-phase industrial supply netwoks such as the TN-system, and the TT-system with earthed neutral point. Connection to different mains supply networks is also possible. The S30661-FB servo amplifier requires a rated supply voltage that falls between 110 to 230 volts, also the rated installed load for the continuos operation at 230 Volts is about 2.4 kilovolts. During operation, the rated output current delivered by the servo amplifier falls between 6 to 8 amperes, also the amplifier can generate a maximum output current of about 15 amperes. The noise pressure generated by the servo amplifier is about 60 decibels. The proper mounting, installation, and configuration are important to the functioning of this servo amplifier, only well trained engineers should be allowed to carry out these operations according to the instructions stated in the documentation delivered with the device. The servo amplifier has a length of about 230 millimeters, a thickness of 70 millimeters and a height of 246 millimeters. Also, the total weight of the amplifier is about 2.7 kilograms. The maximum permissible installation height for the S30661-FB drive controller is 1000 meters above sea level.
