Product Description
With two onboard analog inputs, a CANopen interface, and a slot for an expansion card, the Kollmorgen S300 series of servo drive is designed to take over motion control in the industrial space. Kollmorgen SERVOSTAR 300 drives have a safety restart lock for functional safety provided by a safe torque off functionality. SERVOSTAR 300 servo drives are ideal for the control of high frequency spindles, linear motors, DC motors, synchronous motors, and asynchronous motors. To minimize disruption on the current industrial power supply system, Kollmorgen SERVOSTAR 300 drives support a voltage of between 110 Volts AC and 480 Volts AC with an allowance of plus or minus 10 percent.
The Kollmorgen S30361-NA-V518 is a servo drive in the SERVOSTAR 300 family. To enhance safety, the drive has overvoltage detection, phase-failure monitoring, short-circuit protection, and soft-start functionalities. For motor temperature, the servo drive only monitors the motor’s temperature levels if it is interfaced with Kollmorgen motors and prefabricated cables. The S30361-NA-V518 has a transport temperature rating of between -25 degrees Celsius and +70 degrees Celsius, a maximum transport humidity rating of 95 percent without condensation, and a storage temperature of between -25 degrees Celsius and +95 degrees Celsius.
The S30361-NA-V518 is meant to be cleaned on its casing using Isapropanol. To prevent voiding its warranty, the drive should only be opened up for cleaning by Kollmorgen. The S30361-NA-V518 does not feature an expansion card but it features an expansion slot opening it up for EtherCAT, Sercos II, DeviceNet, Synqnet, FB-2to1 and PROFIBUS connectivity options. Note that the drive is manufactured with an integrated CANopen connectivity interface. The servo drive operates optimally with an input voltage ranging from 110- and 230-Volts AC.
