The S30101-PB is a reliable digital servo amplifier launched by Kollmorgen. The device uses DRIVEGUI.EXE as its setup software. DRIVEGUI.EXE will run under WINDOWS 2000, XP, Vista, 7, 8 and 10. The functioning of the software has not been tested for WINDOWS running within Unix or Linux. It should be noted that only well-qualified personnel are allowed to perform tasks such as transport, assembly, setup, and maintenance of the device. The qualified personnel must know and observe IEC 60364 / IEC 60664 and national accident prevention regulations while performing such tasks. The rated supply voltage of the S300 servo amplifier is 208 to 480 V. The unit has a rated DC link voltage of 560 to 675 V. The rated input power for continuous operation of the device is 1.2 kVA. Its maximum DC bus link voltage is 900 V. The product features a maximum noise emission value of 25 dB(A). The approximate weight of the product is 2.7 kg. There is a 3-character LED display that indicates the status of the unit after switching on the 24V supply. The device is equipped with a PROFIBUS expansion option. The S300 servo amplifier contains electrostatically sensitive components, which are prone to damage when handled incorrectly. The user must discharge oneself before touching the unit. The unit must not come in contact with highly insulating materials, such as plastic films and artificial fabrics. The product should be placed on a conductive surface. If the delivery packaging is damaged, the device should be checked for visible damage. If there is any damage, the shipper and the manufacturer should be informed. In general, the product does not require any maintenance. It must be noted that only the manufacturer can repair the servo amplifier. Opening the device voids the warranty. The delivery package does not contain the mating SubD connectors. They must be ordered separately if required.
