The S30101-FB is a reliable digital servo amplifier from the house of Kollmorgen. It is a safety component that is built into an electrical machine or plant. The device can only be operated as an integral component of such a machine or plant. The unit should be operated only in a closed control cabinet. An ambient operating temperature of 0?C to 40?C should be maintained. Ventilation or cooling is necessary to maintain the temperature within the cabinet below 40?C. If the product is used in residential areas, business/commercial areas, or small industrial operations, the user should implement additional filter measures. The S300 servo amplifier can be supplied from 3-phase grounded (earthed) industrial supply networks. Care should be taken that the periodic overvoltage between phases (L1, L2, L3) and the housing of the device does not exceed 1000V crest. According to IEC 61800, voltage spikes (< 50?s) between phases should not exceed 1000V. The device is exclusively intended for driving suitable brushless synchronous servomotors or asynchronous motors with control of speed, torque, and/or position. The unit is equipped with an FB-2to1 expansion option. The use of the servo amplifier is prohibited in certain environments, especially potentially explosive areas, including environments with corrosive and/or electrically conductive acids, alkaline solutions, oils, vapors, dust, directly on non-grounded supply networks or on asymmetrically grounded supplies with a voltage >230V, and ships or offshore applications. Warning signs can be found on the housing of the device. If these warning signs are damaged, they should be immediately replaced. If the delivery packaging is damaged, the product should be checked for visible damage. In the case of damage, the shipper and the manufacturer should be informed.
