Product Description
The interaction between personnel and industrial motors has been made safer by the introduction of Kollmorgen motor drives. Kollmorgen employs advanced control technology and offers multiple connection options to the drives to improve their adaptability on the industrial floor. Kollmorgen drives support a wide range of both specialty and standard motors regardless of the feedback type used.
The Kollmorgen S21260-VTS is a servo drive that operates with an input voltage of between 120 Volts AC and 240 Volts AC. The drive operates at either velocity or torque modes. While on velocity mode, the S21260-VTS can use selectable control methods such as closed loop, flux vector, open loop vector, or volts/frequency control. On torque control mode, the drive employs an encoder to help in the complex processing of frequency, voltage, rotational position, and current. At an ambient temperature of between 0 degrees Celsius and 50 degrees Celsius, the Kollmorgen S21260-VTS servo drive has a peak output current of 30 Amperes, a peak current time of 3 seconds, a continuous output current convection of 15, 12, and 8 Amperes at ambient temperature of 0-30, 40, and 50 degrees Celsius respectively.
With a height of 6.97 inches, a width of 3.0 inches, a depth of 5.98 inches and a weight of between 1.33 kilograms and 1.40 kilograms, the S21260-VTS can be mounted on industrial spaces where space saving is required. For the Kollmorgen servo drive to reach optimal performance, it has to be operated in an industrial environment with a surrounding temperature of between 0 and 40 degrees Celsius or 40 to 50 degrees Celsius when derated linearly. The surrounding relative humidity should range between 10 and 90 percent without condensation.
