The S20630-CNS drive is designed, manufactured and developed by Kollmorgen, a well reputed brand that sells automation related devices in international market. The S200 servo drive family by Kollmorgen comprises of a wide range of units with advanced motion control features. This module is especially made for AKM servo motors manufactured by Danaher Motion. This drive unit requires a maximum power cable of length 25m (18 AWG) or 50m (14 AWG). It offers 15 mH of maximum motor inductance. The permissible ambient temperature ranges from 0 to +30 degree Celsius. If operated above this temperature, the unit is tested to provide 6.0 Arms output current with natural convection. It may also function at +50 degree Celsius ambient temperature providing output current of 4.5 Arms. The servo drive provides 1,500 VA of peak output power for 1 second at 75 VDC. The continuous output power at 75 VDC can be 500 W. This drive unit can operate the motor at 3,000 revolutions per minute providing a continuous power of 315 W (0 to +30 degree Celsius) and 250 W (+40 degree Celsius). The S20630-CNS comes without the shunt regulation and provide easy setup with quick start guides according to communication mode of the drive. It provides motor over temperature detection on the servo motors with SFD feature.
